I was going to suggest that as well. How long of a lens do you have? Since you are stopped by a BW fence using a longer lens will help. If it is a standard 4 wire I climb them. :lol:

People round' here don't take kindly to tresspassin! My luck, I'd be cited within 5 minutes. If it was off the beaten path, I'd do it. But this is right on a busy 2 lane hiway. I was using a 70-200 L f4 for this shot.

Well then you are stretched out. Maybe get to a lower angle just above the grass. But a polarizer would help with the sky, for a fact an ND would help as well. I return to many places I have shot before to get them in different weather and lighting till I get what I want. I still have some sites that I have been shooting for years that I have yet to get the money shot on. Sometimes it just take persistence to get what you want in the end.
