Taken yesterday in the lovely town of Betws-y-Coed in North Wales,this is of these are of the river running alongside.Taken using Nikon D3s, Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens with a Singh Ray varia filter.

The top one 2.5 seconds and the bottom one 13 seconds.

You did great, Running water is one subject that looks great shot slow and looks great shot fast especially when water bubbles are splashing up....Great :judge: :judge:

These are very nice. We don't get to see much in the way of running water in Florida because it is so flat here. I have my filters in the bag just in case I get a chance to try a shot like this. I would hope my efforts would be half as good as these.

What is the range of your varia-filter - How many f-stops can you take away with it? I use the set of ND filters that are stackable up to -14.

I like the photos you have in your album. You have an eye for the abstract.

The varia ND filters range is 2 to 8 stops,I think these were taken around the 8 stop end of the filter and these photos were the first ones using it.I think that the 13 second exposure was too long and a bit shorter would have given some detail to the water whilst still showing movement.
