Which do you like better?

I like number one.

Good work Alex.

I disagree with a lot of people about number 2. I think it actually needed a LONGER exposure to streak the clouds.

Both are great but I do like the first one since you can see the waves crashing . It looks more like a picture I would love to place on my wall. :judge:

Exactly what I was thinking. I do like both as they project a different mood. I personally think the long exposures work better in B&W.

Alex, I like them both too, they're beautiful. I like how the first one "Pops" and how the second one looks so dreamy. It's very soothing to look at. I think you did a great job!! :)

I would hang the first one. I love the ocean and the movement of the waves. The second is too flat for me.

I like the drama in the first shot but the second is very nice too. :judge:

I want a good wide angle lens and more money for photo trips.

In looking at these, I agree with Charles.. I like them both, but if you had only posted the second one... I would never know it was Rough Seas... without you saying it, and then, I might not believe it if you did say it. The first one definitely says... "You don't want to be in this water!"

I like the first one best. There is more to it, color, motion in the break of the waves and just more overall contrast which brings out a little mor detail.

The second picture is good, but has less appeal for me.
