How Interesting! Love the juxtaposition of simple geometry in static buildings with the frenetic pace of human life reflected in the windows..

I really like number one a lot. The more you look at it the more you find.

Great eye John.

You take great photos, and you surely know what you see. So your positive opinion is significant to me:cheers:

Well that's a great compliment, thank you very much.

Honestly though, number one I would have never seen. I don't think if you take a quick glance at it you'll see everything there.

I agree. I shot it at the same time as the Cloud Gate Revisited album, last June- I really looked at it only now, while rummaging around the folders.... It pays not to rush when rating!

Your telling me....I tend to only edit a small batch of the shots I take. I visit them a few months later and find others to edit.

Very interesting. Where is the reflective dome located at?

At first glance I was confused, so I went back and really looked at photo #1. There is so much there, the varying geometric shapes, colors, and then reflections. It's a feast for the eyes. I am like Scotty and would have walked right passed it, but seeing your image I will slow down next time :)

It is a sculpture by Anish Kapoor, located in Chicago's Millennium Park. He called It "Cloud Gate", But everyone calls it "The Bean". A people magnet. If you would like to see more images:

It did catch my eye, as I was mostly looking up (Sears Tower across the streeet, and I turned away to rest my neck. In sorting the shots, I somehow passed over it, going too qickly, and more excited by the Cloud Gates sequence. Lucky I decided to look again...:)

Like them both. There is detail done subtly if thats no too much of a contradiction in no.1 and in no.2 I spent some time looking for you amongst the reflected people.

There's a poem about nature that tells the tale of us not taking time to stop and notice things. It rings true outside the poem's reference as there are many opportunities we all miss.

I'll probably get arrested for loitering now you made me think!

Cheers
Ned
