Seascapes photos taken with Nikon D800

12 years 3 weeks ago #216124 by Alex
So here are a few shot taken today after picking up my new D800 yesterday. I have to say I'm very impressed with this camera. I went down to Laguna where I found this 60' tall tower built on the side of the cliff from 1926. What a great location to shoot seascape photos. I had the opportunity to meet Mary with My Artist Loft and Curtis and his wife from Vegas, everyone there doing the same thing I was... taking photos of this scenic location. What an amazing day of weather too, the waves were huge!

I'll be posting more photos soon.

I had my 24mm f/1.4 on just about the entire day with Hoya polarized filter.

Killer shots. You're really killing me on that 24 1.4G man. I want one so bad.

Great shots, very vivid......

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

LMAO!!! What is funny about this, is that I was tooling around with that feature all day. Yeah I know... it shows above! Seriously many of these shots were quickly taken to avoid getting bathed in salt water! I'm just surprised I didn't notice this in Photoshop though... heck this would be a slam dunk to fix there.
