World Trade Center - Tribute in Lights 2012 with Startrails
Did my annual trek over by the Brooklyn Bridge to shoot the WTC Tribute in Lights. The skies were crystal clear and as I looked up I could see the stars in the background of the lights heading to the heavens and knew I had to shoot some startrails. I was about 200 yards away from the bridge on the Brooklyn side and had the camera pointed almost straight up. This photo consists of 110 - 30 second exposures stacked using Startrails software. I was so glad that there were no planes flying by at the time I was shooting this... Then again, it was around 1:00 in the morning, so there are not many flights coming in or going out at that time anyway. I think it came out pretty good.By shooting this, it did prevent me from doing some of the other things I wanted to do to get some varying shots. Will save that for next year. I did take other photos and I will share them as soon as I get them processed. As always, feel free top comment.
