An Experiment with Sunsets- Can't imbed pictures anymore for some reason, but Flickr links!

EDIT: Having technical issues. Photos won't upload. Don't know what's wrong here. :/

Had my second photo excursion in Hawaii. This time a few friends rented a room on the beach in Waikiki to party and while they were all, you know, partying I was camped out at the window taking pictures of the sunset.

Here's a few of the better ones I took. I'm posting unedited and edited versions of some of them just so you can see what I'm doing in post. I'm still iffy about my editing skills. Feedback appreciated!

Edit: I'm going to try to upload them as a comment because I just cannot for the life of me get the photos to upload in this post and I don't know why.

Edit 2: Scroll down for Flickr links!

Edit: Nope, can't get the photos to upload here either. I'll try again another day. I'm not sure if the forum is having issues or what, but I've been trying for 15 minutes to upload these pictures and I can't get them to work. I'll add the file, insert the picture, then when I hit submit there is nothing there. Sometimes I get redirected to the forum homepage too. No idea what's going on. :(

Try uploading them to flickr, then embedding them from there. Always looks better for me when I do that anyway.

Third attempt at uploading pictures...

Edit: Still nothing. They are 2-3MB each. Not too big I don't think. I've uploaded pictures similar to them before. I'll make a flickr account and try it that way.

I'm just uploading the unedited files this time.

Edit: I can't even imbed them from Flickr here. It's like these pictures just do NOT want to be shared here. Maybe the universe is trying to tell me they suck or something. I'm getting really really frustrated.

I'm just posting the Flickr URLs because I've spent a solid hour of my life trying to get them imbedded in here and it's just not going to happen.

Well I like #1 best (using the Flickr album labels, not the order posted below). But for post I would lighten up dark areas like the ocean and the low clouds on the right side. ACR, and its sliders, recently changed, don't know which version you have. With the old version this could be done by playing with the Recovery and Fill sliders. For the new version these have been replaced with the Shadows slider.

Thanks so much for the feedback and thanks for getting the links in the post! I'm not sure what type of issues I'm having. Gonna try to upload some edited pictures here...

Both of them are lightened up. Still need to get my hands on Photoshop. That'll happen soon hopefully.

Edit: Success! Pictures are there. Oh happy day :D

You can also do basic RAW editing with Lightroom, costs less than PS.
