I accidently scratched one of my resin filters over the weekend. Can this be repaired?

You can try one of those headlight restoration kits, should remove the scratch, but unless both surfaces are parallel (front and back), The image quality will be effected. Best buy a new one.

No matter how fast I go, there's always someone slower in front of me.

According to Lee Filters their resin filters cannot be repaired if scratched. You might look to the manufacturer's website or send them an email.

I dont worry about the scratches. Every resin filter I own has some on them and they dont really show up unless in the sky part of the image or where the area is white, then I can use the heal tool to take out the effect in post. I use my glass more though and only use the resin ones for my fish eye lens now because I cut them up to fit the rear holder.
