Next lens?

I currently just have the 18-135mm lens. I was looking at the tamron 28-70mm 2.8 lens and the 70-300 sigma 4-5.6. I want to eventually get both of those lenses. Which should I get first? If you don't think either of them are a good next lens, please suggest one.

I have the Tamron 28-75 , 2.8 and it is a nice sharp lens. Can be used for portraits. I would have to do some research on the 70-300 but I gave this lens away with my older camera I sold. I think it is too soft and is more of an inexpensive kit type lens. I have a Sigma 70-200 2.8 and a teleconverter 1.4x to go with it. It is a sharper lens and another great one for portraits. Some other good choices is the 50mm 1.8.

My favorite lens is the Tamron 18-270. I love it because of the large zoom range. It allows me to do wildlife (270) and landscape with a variety of shots in between. This might be too much of an overlap for your current lens.

What do you want your lens for? For just starting out I would say a 70-300 would be a good move but we dont know what you shoot. More detail please for better results.

Right now I am just looking for a lens to continue off from where my 18-135 ends. So anyone got any good 70-300 or somewhere around that? Any brand, doesn't matter. Just want to have options. Thanks.

I would say to get the short zoom first if you do landscapes and the longer zoom if you shoot sports
