Photoflex Triton battery question

If I wanted to have a spare battery pack, are there any other brands that would work with this set up aside from Photoflex?

Doubtful because it has the plugs, unless you get universal connectors. Not sure, would have to see the lights in person.

I was going to order this online and wasn't sure what the deal was.  I don't want to run out of power in middle of shoot.  I might need to call up one of the experts with Adorama or B&H and see if they know.  Wish Amazon had photographer pro's to take answers.

Killer set up, what are you going to be using it for?

I want to say the connectors are universal.  Alien bee's are proprietary if memory is correct.

Alien Bee Einsteins use a standard computer-type cable with a standard plug end. Their battery pack is two outlet and works great.

For that kind of money ($900 for the Triton on Amazon) you might look at the ABs with CyperCommander, and the Jinbei Discovery DC-600. That PhotoFlex unit seems pricey.

Just a thought, didn't Photoflex go belly up?  Getting warranty parts or service might be though, go with the AB's.  Actually there are a number of sound options that will even cost you less and be a good fit for you.  Do you have a B&H catalog?
