Awww Shucks , Charles....Your makin me blush !!...Flowers aren't hard, bugs are...I like doing shots like this flower in this fashion as I can blacken out cluttered backgrounds . This was taken in the early afternoon, lots o' light, but the fast shutter speed & small aperture effectively negates most ambient light, thus taking care of the other flowers & leaves behind it...

Using flash will blacken the background too, but this worked wonderful here. Nicely done.
