What do you think of this Spiderweb?

I was driving this morning in kind of a hurry but couldn't help stopping to photograph the heavy fog sitting in a perfect layer over a large meadow. I almost ran right through this spiderweb and decided it was a more interesting subject. A macro lens would have been nice but I'm still pleased.

My theory about spider webs- as long as it isn't in my home it's good . You truly captured the beauty of the web and all the work the spider put into it. Great shot.

I have found, the best time to photograph spiderwebs is on a sunny morning immediately following a foggy night, or a cool night when the dew was heavy. The moisture droplets make the webs stand out and the sunlight makes them glisten.

Here's one of my faves:

Sure, practice makes perfect but, unless you learn from your mistakes, you are only perfecting your ability to fail.
