Birds in Flight

I thought since I was commenting on a few BiF shots, it's only fair to post my own for C&C ;)

Shot at various beaches in Southern California, seems to be the place with the most flying birds to capture in my area!

Posting these made me want a new telephoto lens. These are all a couple years old, shot with my old XTi and EF-S telephoto...I think I need to invest in a tele for the 5D so I can get out and shoot some more birds. :)

Nice series. I love gulls - they pose so nicely for you. :judge: :judge: :judge:

All are good captures, but my favorite one is #2! :judge:

What you are is so loud, I can't hear a word you say!

Fantastic set buddy. The first one is my favorite. I love the way the dun is fitting the gull head on. I must say, gulls ate so much more beautiful than my pigeons haha.

I love these. Favorite is #2...sounds silly, but he looks as if he's engaged in the process.

@John - To be honest, that first shot was one that I never liked much before. When I first shot it I didn't really know anything about post processing. But revisiting it and being able to pull more detail and get the clouds to show up more, I started liking it more and more.

@pinoldy - Not too silly, I can kind of see that from his expression.
