Hi everyone, I am fairly new to photography. I have been taking pictures for years but have only recently gotten serious. At the moment I have a Canon Powershot S3 IS and I am saving for a Canon 60D. I would appreciate any tips and critques. I like to take pictures of everything.

I had a Canon S3 IS. Fun camera. Not sure I'd wait all that long for a 60D. Even a humble T1i will be a game changer from a S3 if the 60D goal is distant.

welcome! I'm pretty new here myself.... I can tell you that this has been a great site to learn from and participate in. I still have my S3 IS. It's a great camera for what it is. You can take some excellent shots on that.
