They seem to be blown up and distorted, how do I go about putting a photo there without it being blown up and distorted. :thx2:

For FB cover photos, the original should be plenty wide: I usually use 800 pixels. Anything less and it will get stretched. Height should be sufficient as well, and you can control the crop.

I might suggest experimenting with a simple photo first, one that is of good quality. Once you're comfortable with that, try using a collage (although I don't recommend it. You're better off using full size images and changing them periodically, IMO).

:thx2: But I want to use this photo for this website....it stretches it. Which doesn't make sense to me. :(

I'm seeing the same problem. See screen shot below.
The top image is what I uploaded. The bottom image is how it is displayed.

I had the same result the other day. I tried several times, then gave up. I had sized my new image to 845 pixels wide, by 240 pixels high, which had worked perfectly with my last profile image.

What you are is so loud, I can't hear a word you say!

Ah, OK, we're talking about PT, not FB.

I've seen the same trouble. Keep trying. Some days it seems to work, others not. No rhyme or reason, other than it's a bug in the PT software. AFAIK.
