Hi Mokairish,

what is your current technical skill level? Could you give a bit more context? Thanks

Hi Robert

I started with photographytalk  10 days ago, so I am a newby. My skill level in business is low and I have never had a business.

I am learning the technicals of a camera and I have also started the course in landscape photography. I would love to turn it into a business

Many thanks
Mick

If someone just started learning how to use a camera or just started a class and has no business skills it's way too soon for it to become a business. To me it's sort of like someone who doesn't know how to do much besides boil water and thinking they can open a restaurant.

I think realistically it's going to take time; it might be something that could happen 'someday'. I think it's necessary to know what to do in a variety of conditions/situations to be able to get good professional quality on a consistent basis. And you'd need to learn what will be involved in being a small business owner wherever you live.
