Would printing above 300 DPI improve THIS large format print?

I took a very large HDR panoramic photo that is stitched together from roughly 70 images; attached below.  It is a landscape photo with lots of color; trees; water etc - see below.

At 300 DPI, the dimensions are 89" x 31".

I want to get this professionally printed as a Metallic HD Print with plexiglass to hang in my apartment where the closest viewing distance would be about 1 foot away.  My objective is to get it printed at the with the highest possible detail even if the dimensions are reduced.

My question is will 300 DPI be the best resolution to print at? Otherwise, should I increase the DPI to 400, 600, 1200 etc and reduce the actual print size?  Would I actually see any improvement in detail above 300 DPI?

At 600 DPI; the dimensions are 44" x 15".

Thank you!
