hello from Central Florida

having a little short term memory issues, I thought I had made the introductory
post way back when - upon searching, I see that I didn't. so here it is.

I am 72 and live a little South of the Disney stuff in Central Florida.
I've been interested in photography since using my mother's Brownie 120
box camera as a kid. Early '70s, I had a pretty nice setup of the Canon 35mm
film cameras and a nice Mamiya C33 Professional (and I actually still have it).
after the film era died off, I started using the Point-n-Shoot cameras with
good results.  but now, the Covid stuff has me cooped up away from the
madding crowd so I got a new Canon Rebel T7 to test the waters in the
digital world.
I am not new to online forums or photography.  I just need to learn a little more
about the film-less world.
thanks for having me !!

Welcome, I myself am very new to here and well photography as well.
I am 64 myself and trying something I have wanted to do for a while.

So after so many years of doing this or that and life itself getting in my way, I am now at the point where just slowing down and doing things I have put off I have concluded that its time to become creative and do what I want.
Thanks for giving me a place to get started. :-)
