Hello, I am new to the forum

Hi, my name is Richard
I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I like all genres but have very little experience in some of them. I only use PC and Android and On1 as my main editor, though I uses others though but am anti subscription services.. I shoot canon but still have some nikon lenses and a camera. I am not religious about hardware, but am about best performance for price. Lately I have been doing ICM and abstract shooting and photo editor abstracts. I would like to photograph more people, landscape, astro. I like sports and birds. I like to go to Moab to ride bicycle, dirt motorcycle, and take photos. Next time I go I will try astro there. Photography is fun for me and I shoot for a while and then go to another hobby for a while, and years later come back. So I have taken photos a long time but my level is amateur at best. My first camera my grandmother bought me  at 7 years old from a garage sale for 50 cents. It was a Polaroid big swinger 3000. Moving to 35mm film was a step backwards for me because I had to wait for the images to be developed and printed from the camera shop or drugstore.

Hi Hannah, thanks for the reply. The short time on here seems like not a lot of activity or replies. Perhaps it is Covid or the time of year, thanks again.
