Peeling rubber grip on Nikon D90 camera?

Do other camera bodies have this problem? I seem to only read about Nikon D90's having this issue. Is it just cheap glue Nikon used from the factory?

No, its not just the D90. Send it to Nikon repair and have it fixed....;)

It happened to my D300 too. But since it was after several thousand images and over a year and a half of owning it, I just sent it in for a tune-up (clean sensor, check and adjust focus and metering as needed). They need to take the grip off to check some of that stuff anyway (I think).

Here is where I sent it, very reputable and highly recommended by many Nikon users. That or send to Nikon. nikoncamerarepair.com/

If you just wanted to repair the grip, call Nikon for a new grip that comes with sticky "tape" on the back. If you use industrial glue that may prevent someone easily getting into the camera for maintenance if you need it.

You might try searching Google or similar for Nikon D90 grip replacement. There is probably some tutorials (that you may have already discovered).
