Nikon Compatibility with Windows 8?

Thinking about upgrading to the new Windows 8? Stop and read this first! Nikon Rumors reports that Nikon Europe is the process of testing a list of software with the new Windows operating system. As of now, compatibility with the software products listed below is unconfirmed. The newly redesigned Windows 8 was launched on October 26 to mixed reviews. Its fans say the new operating system is phenomenal when “experienced across multiple platforms,” yet many critics aren't completely sold on the new aesthetic.
Meanwhile, Nikon is diligent about performing software tests with all new computer operating systems, including the Mac OS 10.8 Mountain Lion, issuing this compatibility statement in August of this year.
We plan to test Windows versions of the following software applications for compatibility with Windows 8. We will announce our plans regarding full compatibility once testing is complete.
