What body to get depends a lot on what you shoot. If you shoot a lot of macro or telephoto images, then maybe DX, otherwise FX. I have both FX & DX so, for me glass is more important.

Same here, and my D800 and D7100 are getting a bit dated. I'm also still more interested in glass at the moment....

I definitely need to upgrade my glass collection as I progress but feel like a better body is the best step for my right now. But dont worry I have plenty of glass in mind!
