Olympus AF10 Super won't load film

2 years 6 months ago #620180 by Anna-Jellema-Butler
Hi there,
I have had this issue with my Olympus ever since I bought it, and have been googling forever. I tried to take it in to the shop I bought it from, and they had no ideas. Recently found this
which shows exactly what happens when I try to load film. Does anybody have ANY ideas???
Thanks so much

On the left end inside the back of your camera you should see a red stripe -- place the end of the film to this red stripe before closing the back. Do not tuck it in any further than this stripe. Then close the back and it should load properly. If not, there is likely a mechanical problem -- stripped gears or broken catch on the take up roller -- that would need attention by a repair shop.
