What adapter should I use for my Carl Zeiss lens on my Lumix G7?

Hello everyone!
I have this Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm 2.8 M42 lens and I want to use it on my Panasonic Lumix G7 camera.
The camera has a Micro Four Thirds sensor.
Can you tell me which adapter to use?
I have a budget of $50.

G'day David

Dr Google is you rbest friend here ... ask for "m4/3 to M42 adapter" and you will probably be offered a dozen or more possibilities

I bought mine from a mob called DinoDirect - you can google them too - for about $10 + postage

Hope this helps

Hello! Glad to hear you are using the Lumix G7 , I have been using it for a year now and am very happy.
Since your Lumix G7 features a Micro Four Thirds sensor, you'll require an M42 to Micro Four Thirds adapter to utilize your Carl Zeiss lens.
When it comes to budget, keep in mind that the quality of the adapter will typically sway with its price.
Some of the best brands for this adapter include K&F Concept, Fotodiox, Neewer, among other recognized names. I recommend that you compare prices and features to select the one best suited for your budget and demands.
I hope this information helps you find the right adapter for your Carl Zeiss lens.
