Very good! Yes, I use a blend of a straight image with a lucis art layer and adjust opacity to taste. Never had anybody peg it before. For the color image I also used a solid toned layer set to color blend mode , adjusted opacity and used a mask to make the color show up where I wanted it's influence more and I also de-daturated the original image some.

I`m going for the B&W. But, maybe give it a bit of Contrast to boost it a little ? Just my opinion, Thats what i would try. Apart from that, they are both good captures.;)
