Great study of your son, not to keen on those borders in the first one that inner black line especially spoils the phot, but otherewise cracking. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I'm not nuts about borders myself, so I agree with photobod on that point. However, overlooking that, the image itself is great and I love the colouring of the flowers. Definitely a moment to "capture."

The second image is my fav, probably because I can relate. After a photo shoot with the boys, we were on our way home and a grasshopper landed on the windshield. Taking the car up to 120kms (won't go faster with the kids aboard), that insect held on tight and never let go. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this image.

The third image is really intense. It shows both emotion and non-emotion in the same image.

Sure, practice makes perfect but, unless you learn from your mistakes, you are only perfecting your ability to fail.
