Nadja

Nadja isn't a model, and since I'm new to photographing people in a controlled setting, I heavily relayed on examples I had seen over the internet. But interestingly enough the photos that worked the best was when it was candid. Well sort of... you see I'd tell her to relax, that I had to "figure out some settings" and it was like a transformation in her. Of course I took the opportunity to fire off a couple. lol Sorry just had to add that one! It's just to funny to pass up!

Veru nice composition and use of DOF. The flat lighting in No1 doesn't work very well for the image, not generally a good idea for a portrait that isolates the subject from the background:thumbsup:

Thanks for your coments. I agree with you about the flat lighting...we were in the shade and it was spontanious...no real thought about lighting. Gasp...I know...lighting is what makes the photo. Live and learn. Thanks again for your coments. Much appreciated!
