30 students in under an hour!
every year i work together with a local school and their english "challenge" program. at the end of the year the excelling students writing gets put together into a printed book accompanied by a fun portrait. i was fortunate enough to know the woman who runs the program (she used to be my teacher!) and i got to be the photographer for the book when it first started 3 years ago.
since that time the book has become a huge inspiration for students coming into the middle school, one of their favourite parts is getting their photo taken.
this year there were 32 students that i got to photograph.... in under and hour!!! (and as we all know, middle school age kids can be a photographic challenge!)
in the end i was thrilled with how the photos turned out, and i thought i'd share a few of my favourites.
as always i can't wait to see the final printed book (note, the designer has created the book in a square format, hence the square crop)
