I know this is like posting about religion.

But I want an objective and truthful opinion here.

Which is best?

Imagine you could buy the best model around. What would you choose and why?

If I had the power to get whatever camera I wanted, it would be neither of those. There's no right answer - it's all a matter of what you're most comfortable with.

:goodpost:  For the portrait game time spent fussing with the camera is not a good thing.  So I would say whichever camera you happen to be most comfortable with.  Technical differences would be the least important.

Some experts say Nikon has the best lenses. I really don't know it that's true because I have a Canon. You can try and shoot with both to really know the difference.
