This last month (when I beat the $1000 mark), my best sellers were Shutterstock, iStockPhoto, Dreamstime and Alamy. That last one is a bit variable, going from nothing to $100 with no real pattern.

I love teaching new photographers how to use their camera to photograph their own kids in their own environment, then, combining those images into a story. It's similar to digital scrapbooking, but way cooler, much more flexible and much less time consuming.

I am working on my own story series, Footsteps Through Time, that documents the lives of two young brothers as they journey through life. Each photo shoot is a chapter and there are four chapters per disc. The last estimate puts the series at about 20 volumes and is presented as a "website on a disc."

Aside from the teaching, I want to use this series as an example of what can be done and will also, hopefully, use it to generate another income from its sales.

Here's a couple of screen shots:

Sure, practice makes perfect but, unless you learn from your mistakes, you are only perfecting your ability to fail.

Very cool Time..I'm sure you will make quite a bit from it. Have you thought about writing the software for this & selling it mass market? I'm sure it would be a great product for photographers to offer their clients... I think I see $$$$ in your future.
