Astrophotography market place

12 years 7 months ago #149273 by Happy-pixel
I'm putting some serious consideration into getting some astronomy equipment. Granted this is for personal interest. However to try to offset the price of this equipment I was trying to figure if I might be able to sell any photos of this type of photography. Do stock photo sites accept astrophotography shots, are there avenues that I can make some money with this sort of photography?

Thanks for the input

Go to the Hubbell site and see what you can have for free. Technically the space telescope belongs to us (taxpayers), and I believe you can download most if not all photos posted. That is TOUGH competition, maybe best to get into portraits, weddings or stock photography......:)
