How often you feel the need to order something photography related?

yeah yeah, it's another thread to stir up some small talk with you guys. I was recommended this site from Adorama this morning and decided to sign up. Nice community you have here. I'm just building up my post count also  To be honest this is the first forum I've signed up with, so pardon me if my post are :toocrazy:

SO... back to my question. I know for me, as soon as I open up a photography magazine, I'm tempted, as soon as I surf over websites, I'm tempted. Now I'm signed up here and there is even more temptation!

How often do you feel the urge to order something? BE HONEST

When i first started i always felt like ordering something. Now i have gotten to the point where its more about going to shoot something new rather than buying something that gets me going. I guess it comes from being happy with my gear (except on my wait for a 5dmkIII  )

Here is my quote from another place that i use:

Beginners worry about gear, professionals worry about skill and masters worry about light

Yup daily, but its only wishful thinking, things always look so shiny and new in the magazines, but I can do my job with what I have so no probs there.

Welcome to PT enjoy it here, can be a bit of a madhouse at times but it is fun.
