No despite the fact we have several pro shooters in the family. I learned long ago that I never mix family and business deals together. There is also another factor and that is that the person who is shooting is not enjoying the event like the rest of the family. Now I do my own shooting at the wedding, but that is for personal memories and nothing more. My cousin who shoots documentaries for TV does video tape the family events, but he actually just likes doing it, and he gives tapes of the wedding to the couple as his wedding gift. If they wanted to pay for his services then he would say no, he and I have discussed this before.

Not a chance, after recently getting married and seeing how much these wedding photographers bust their butts. I want a pro (which is what we got!).
