I'm not in any of my photos?

Not so much a question, but a statement as photographers we do such a good job recording memories for others that we can easily fail to record our own. My wife and I have done extensive traveling in the last few years and I have thousands of photos of these adventures. Last night as we decided to put together a scrape book of our favorites, not a single image of me! Boy, time for green screen and photoshop time :pinch:

1) Set the camera up, and hand it to your wife and let her snap a few. Once you've got the setting, the rest is pretty straightfoward. Perhaps not best / ideal, but at least there will be proof you were there.

2) Carry a tripod and use a wireless trigger. Take the time to get shots of the two of you together. Pretend you're working and direct yourself :-)

My sons have had camera phones for years, there are many more pics of me than I know of. I've also had a few pics taken and posted on some social sites, like winning, or participating in sporting tournaments. Then there are the pics authorities have of me running red lights and the like. I'm always smiling.... :)

Why so serious?

I like to wave at the toll booth cameras as I drive through.

Well the only photos I have are me are if they were taken without me knowing it. Well except for the normal DL photo, and that is how I like it.

Tripod and remote can be your friend. If you have Pocket Wizard III's you can trigger your camera with this too.

My grandma was a photographer and the picture of my grandfather were always well shot and beautiful. She'd then pass the camera to my grandfather and all the picture of her were off kilter and horrible lol They have tons of photo albums of each of them standing in front of the same landmarks by themselves.
