Photography and bicycling?

I just bought a new bicycle and wondering how you bring your camera with you with having to use a backpack?  When I have around my neck, it keeps sliding in front of me and can get in the way.  I was thinking a sling, that locks on side, but wanted to hear from you.

I use a Lowepro Slingshot 202AW and it's great.
I regularly go out shooting on my Vespa and it works perfectly. More useful than a backpack as it slides to the side or front when needed and around to my back, out the way when not. It has easy side access and even accommodates a small travel tripod.
It's been around the world with me a few times and never disappointed me.
Brilliant !

I need to get myself a bike and start getting the cardio up.  I know alex bikes a lot.  Hopefully he'll chime in.

I bike often and use a backpack, one of a couple depending on the gear I take, also have a rack on the back that will hold tripod, lunch and meds. Most would be adequate. Also, give some thought to what gear you really need, and don't try to take it all....;)

Why so serious?
