Camera carry strap

I might have already mentioned this. Idea for a carry strap. I've got a harness for carrying a set of binocular's. Actually saw it on my son first. I spend a lot of time walking around with the camera at field trials and slung around my neck is uncomfortable, over a shoulder and I have to hold the camera to keep it from sliding off. So I got one of those harness's, made by Nikon, that my son has and tried it.. Worked great but one problem. The straps are made of elastic banding, camera bounce's around when I walk. Well a couple days ago I redid the thing. Took off the elastic strap's and replaced them with 1" nylon webbing. No more bouncing, camera hangs just above my waist and the slips holding the camera to the harness ride up and down very easily and the camera adjust's easily to Pano and portrait position. With the clips i used the attach the camera to the harness, the camera snaps on and off in a jiffy! On the camera all I did was remove the strap that came with it and put small split rings in it's place. The camera is now carried on my shoulder's and instantly accessible.

Well good job on completing a successful DIY  project. I still use a strap myself. From working in heavy construction for so many years I have come to have a deep seated loathing of harnesses.
