Crashed my DJI Phantom, Gopro survived

9 years 4 months ago #421859 by Pierce Steenken
My Phantom stopped communicating with my radio and crashed in a river.  Not to thrilled with this.  The crappy part to all of this, is now I'm hooked and want to get a replacement.  I have a bad taste in my mouth from this Phantom and looking for alternatives that are close to out of the box ready to fly.  Would be nice to have 4k video.

Can you help me please?

That's a kicker.  Jump on Youtube and type in "drone crash" and you'll find you aren't alone.  Did you try contacting their customer service?

I don't know any other drone manufacture, so you might be stuck.

I'm sure their customer service will try to dodge that bullet and say it's your fault.

You flying for job or fun?  I was thinking one of these would be great for shooting real estate.

Well you aren't the only one having tough time with their DJI.  I was looking at their new Inspire and have come across some disturbing videos

I'd be ticked off.  I'd raise heck with them and see about getting it replaced.  I don't know of another company that makes them.

I need to check with my brother, he has been trying to talk me into getting one of these drones.  He has like 3 of them and helps out realtors with their home listings.

DJI has grown to quick and have not invested $$ back into taking care of their customers.  It's a shame IMO.

I was thinking the same thing.  I wonder if that was his house?

I have called a few stores and DJI is the only brand that comes up.  This is tougher than I thought it would be.
