Would you use a 35mm for portraits?

Joves, how often are you using your fisheye?  I have been thinking about getting one and wondering how often would I actually use it.  
Getting BETTER one photo at a time!

Not as much as when I first got it, but I do still use it. Sometimes I get in the mood to use it, but many times I do not. I am glad I have it though. What you have to ask yourself, and be honest about is how often do you think you would use it. I like the effect for certain things, also for wide shot landscapes where you want to show expanse. Also the minimum focus is really close, and the depth of field is very wide even close up. With programs such as Hemi you can flatten out the field really well. Capture NX sucks at doing this, as it chops off too much of the image for my tastes. IF! You think you want one look on CL, or at KEH for one used at a good price. But most people from my experience buy them, and use them maybe a month, or two, and then lose interest. Me I like playing with it sometimes, especially true for when I get in a slump.
