If a wedding planner, or baker or who ever referred business to you.  Do you give a referral fee?  If so, how much are you giving?

Thanks guys.

A gift card is a nice way to say thanks, unless you agreed on something different previously.

Why so serious?

Are you all getting your company information printed on these cards?

I always make it a point to thank folks for referring business my way. As others have said, if it's a one-off referral, a nice handwritten note will suffice. It it's someone that's constantly shipping customers my way I go with something that's tailored to their liking. For some its baseball tickets, for others it's a Whole Foods gift card. Just depends!

I only give thank you cards and depending on the client will give them a Starbucks card, Target gift card, or movie tickets.
