Which will fade sooner: metal or acrylic prints?

Basically which will give you longer life of color in a sun room?  I have 3 prints needed in a sun room, and I need something that will last longest.

You need to talk to the lab about their UV protection on their products. I don't think there's any fixed answer, as they both are created from an emulsion transfer process, I believe. It's the coating that may make the difference.

"It's the coating that may make the difference.".....That's a bingo.

Why so serious?

I seem to recall that the metal will fade first.  Something to do with the coating being exposed to elements, where as the acrylic print is protected from the elements because the print is laminated to the backside of the acrylic.

This would be a good question for the printer company

My guess would have been the metal fading sooner.  Just because it has less protectant.
