Rode Wireless GO

If this mic works as advertised this could be awesome for getting good audio from my weddings and corporate gigs.

Have any of you tried this system yet?  Kind of curious on the range and also, would you happen to know if this comes with a lavalier microphone?

It says very clearly on their webpage that the device (transmitter) has an omnidirectional mic, and will accommodate a 3.5mm TRS lavalier. Under Features it states that "RØDE’s market-leading smartLav+ (with an SC3 adaptor), Lavalier microphone and HS2 headset microphone are perfect companions for the Wireless GO when used as a beltpack (and sold separately)"

A reasonable conclusion would be that a lavalier isn't part of that product.

Thank you for the input.  Never made it to their site when I posted this, it was an ad I saw on Facebook that brought me to a page that didn't have a few pieces of information that I was after.  I have since gone to B&H site and found the range listed there too (230' in case anyone else was after this).

So thanks anyway!

I have new lens that I'm after, once I have that I'm going to upgrade my audio to one of these Rode Go sets.  It's getting good reviews.  Have you watched any of the YouTube clips on it?  There's an audio guy (can't think of his name) who swore he was ditching all his Rode gear for Deity mics that were better.  He did a review on the Rode wireless GO and stated it's a must have.

Rather than leaving you hanging, I just went to my YouTube history and found the video I was talking about.

The size is the big selling point with these.  Let us know what you think of these.  I'm very interested to hear what you have to say about them.

Rode stepped it UP here.  When you compare existing other options, their price and mechanics, you can appreciate this set up.  I might need to sell my existing set up and pick one of these up too!
