Makes my rebellious side want to find the loophole to such a thing and exploit it. Not Nice I know, and I promise I don't really care enough to try. LOL It's ridiculous. I think these things will back fire eventually. Especially with how small and abundant cameras are these days, it's almost like trying to copyright a memory.

It won't affect the little guy. They will just be going after big corporations. They couldn't afford to sue an individual for a few hundred dollars they made selling these images. They want to go after the big guys that spend a fortune on advertising using these images.

Do they not realize that it is the images of fine photographers and artists that then make their town more desirable to visit? They basically have been enjoying the "free" advertising and marketing that these beautiful images have created worldwide. People see the beauty in images and want to visit. In visiting, the town enjoys the tourist dollars.

All I can say is....Greed! It will be the downfall of the world.
