October 14th Photography Student Success Story: Blake Johnson
"We asked Blake about his experience at PPSOP and he said, "Simply put, I would not have a career right now without PPSOP. It might sound a bit dramatic, but it is the truth. What I learned about composition, lighting, and editing in my classes at PPSOP got the attention of a production company of which I am now part owner. The skills I picked up I have translated into my Video Production work, and still carry forward when I shoot stills. Before I logged into my first class, my camera was a thousand dollar black brick that stared me in the face and wouldn't capture a single image I tried to create. Because I stuck with the courses and practiced the lesson plans, I was able to go from having an expensive bookend, to using those cameras successfully every day at my company. I owe PPSOP, and I am forever grateful to the teachers there, and the patience they had with me
