Hi all,

Just came across this web site with a photo competition for Raymond Weil.



"The 6th edition of our International Photography Competition is now open!

Seize your chance to express your talent and win a US $10.000 cash prize!


Competition planning:

Start of the competition: October 3rd 2011
Registrations to the competition will start from this date. Contestants should register on this web page.



Registration deadline: November 30th 2011, 11:00 GMT
All members wishing to take part in the competition will have to upload their pictures from October 3rd until November 30th.



Competition selection: from December 1st to December 14th
The jury will select the RAYMOND WEIL International Photography Prize winner and select 30 finalists - 10 by region (The Americas, Europe & Africa and Asia &Oceania).



Online voting: December 17th 2011 to January 17th 2012, 11:00 GMT
The works of the 30 finalists will be presented on Facebook and fans of our Facebook page will have the opportunity to vote for the picture they like best (they will only be able to vote once for their favourite artist). For each of the 3 regions, the artiste who got the most votes will win the Public's Choice Award.



Awards: January 18th 2012
The jury will announce the winner of the "RAYMOND WEIL International Photography Competition” and the 3 winners as voted online by our Facebook fans.



BASELWORLD production: January / February 2012
The winner of the RAYMOND WEIL International Photography Competition will have the opportunity to exhibit his/her winning work in the RAYMOND WEIL booth during BASELWORLD 2012 - The World's Leading Watch & Jewellery Show.



BASELWORLD: March 8th to March 15th 2012
The RAYMOND WEIL International Photography Competition winner’s exhibition will take place in the RAYMOND WEIL booth.

Requirements:



- Number of photos: 3
- Format: JPG or GIF only
- Size: 600 x 600 pixels maximum
- Resolution: 72 dpi (smaller resolution will not be accepted)
- A high resolution copy (300 dpi) of each picture submitted for the later stage of the competition as the winning picture will be printed in a large format."
