PhotographyTalk "Photographer Awareness" Video #4 is Live!

How does this video software compare to Animoto? I really like the finished results and how things just flow into place. When you introduce actual video footage, can you edit that as well?

Wasn't me :)

It struck me the same way as it did David. It seems to be more of a business related promotion that uses submitted images but doesn't compensate photographers. Glad for Barry and Bob to have their photos chosen but I expected to see others of the 'regulars' on here to be included if they chose to submit something.

Hi John,

ProShow is a similar type of slideshow tool but gives you much more control over your final production.

You can edit video clips using a built-in video trimmer which will allow you to crop off any unwanted frames from the beginning or end of your clip. You can also choose to mute or keep the audio from your video clip, many photographers simply mute the audio and let the soundtrack play over their entire show.

Photodex has 3 versions of ProShow, each have their own benefits and strengths. You can see a comparison chart here and try any of the products for free for 15-days. http://www.photodex.com/proshow/compare

Also, Photography Talk members get 10% off ProShow products with code 'N7VBHGGT'. Simply use this code during checkout to get the discount.

Hope this answers your questions, have a great day.

:)
