Only the mini in charge of the tilt is physically connected to your camera, but both minis are hooked up via bluetooth and the genie app so you can control both pan and tilt.

The mini that controls panning will rotate 360 degrees, but the one in charge of tilt will be restricted to prevent the camera from tilting too far and hitting the pan mini below.
