Okay. For me horizons can be leveled in post. And again, I (apparently mistakenly) concluded that responses were being requested. Apologies for misunderstanding.FYI Gary....In some cases the photographs were taken at angles for a reason i.e I was not standing directly perpendicular to the subject matter, or maybe because it was not possible because of an obstacle, a river, a wall, a drop, or for another reason.
Okay. That's fine. You are entitled to your choice; just own it. I don't like non-level horizons. It's a personal thing that I own.In some cases I took the shots as they are because I like them. Where I live the countryside is undulating and in some cases mountainous.
Um, okay. I'm always up for feedback. My images suck.I thought I would give you my opinion on your images.
Sometimes i overlook fixing a horizon, yes. Please bring specific images to my attention, and I will make corrections.I have noticed that not all of your shots are correct in terms of straight horizons....
Ouch.I also do not like the fact that your images (to me) have limited DOF. Most are poorly composed with important highlight detail blown out accompanied by grain and digital artifacts the size of golf balls (just my opinion).
I'm pretty sure that I wrote, above: "But your composition and editing are quite nice." I would normally classify that as a compliment. Not petulance-evincing snarkiness. I guess I should apologize for appreciating your work.....?I have been shooting landscapes with more interest over the last 16 months and I intend to get better at it, and I will !!!
Again, allow me to educate you.Anyway thanks for your valuable input. I mean, after all I can see by your avatar information (and portfolio) that you call yourself, the photo guru. Maybe I will invest in a spirit level...Ciao
