Separate Telephoto Lens for Sony Cybershot RX100 VII?

2 months 1 week ago #725102 by Terry_Robinson
Hi,

I'm new to this forum & was wondering if there’s a separate zoom lens for the Sony Cybershot RX100VII camera available & if so, any recommendations please?

Also, is there a recommended suction cup for this camera?

Thanks in advance…

Regards.

Terry

This is a non-interchangeable lens camera, so no, there is no separate telephoto lens for it. You may be able to get a screw-on telephoto lens for it but their image quality leaves lots to be desired... A suction cup ? Do you mean a tripod?

Hi Scott,

Thankyou for your reply! The suction cup is for attaching my camera to a window (of an aircraft in this case) to film while moving without having to hold the camera.

Thanks again. Terry

G'day Terry

If your camera is the RX100 then you are stuck with a short zoom lens and there's little you can do, except "upgrade". If you want heaps of zoom, then have a good look at the Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 or its equivalent in the Panasonic range, the FZ-2500

Hope this helps
