What do you think? The lens is a Canon 70 - 200, I'm in as close as I can get without swimming.

You're right- you need a bigger boat...! An extender? Did you shoot RAW? Perhaps you can blow this up, and edit it a bit. It's a nice shot!

You could crop in a little closer if you wished shame about the washed out sky but no one can alter the weather, you could always drop a nice sky in if you have the skills,

This gives me a thrill. I raced catamarans back in the 80's. Flying a hull is most exhilarating and this shot makes my heart go faster. Yes a nice long lens is needed but don't sell yourself short you caught this flyby very well. :judge:

A polarizing filter might help, but there are no guarantees.

Thank you all so much for your input. I am going to go through some more of the shots...I shot a lot of photos, and see what else I have. Maybe another is a better angle or lighting. Unfortunately, I do not have an extender but after this great event and missing some wonderful pictures, I'm either getting the extender or adding a new lens!

Chasrich, I'm so glad one of my pictures made you feel and remember times you loved! That may be the best compliment I could ask for!

John, I did shoot in RAW so I can still work on the crop. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Again, thank you all.
