Litter mates

These two guy's are littermates to my Stormy. Git to watch them run in Washington Saturday. It's a hoot watching puppy's. They try to big guy's but the puppy always comes out! Shortly after this shot they were wrestling again! No post prep other than cropping.

You have very awesome dogs. However, on terms of framing and focus, you have to work on it. But this is not bad post at all. Nice!

How can you make a great shot with these moving subjects?

I use a wide aperture. constant focus, high enough ISO to stop them and constant servo. Then pick them up and try to follow them and let the camera take all the shots it can.

Thanks everyone. Thing about doing these dog shot's is it's hard to know how to set up. Hard to follow the dogs to. When they are turned loose, all h*ll breaks loose and you really have no idea what direction they will take other than away from the handler's. I get a lot more bad shot's than good. I always set myself up to try and get best position of the sun, doesn't always work out either! lol On the other hand doing photo's of dog's on point is much easier. They simply stand still and pose for you, you just have to find the right position. To get composition I crop on moving photo's and try to keep a focus point on the dog. Got to be a better way but I haven't figured it out yet!
